Location
Tampa is located on the west coast of Florida and is part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater area.

The AADR/CADR Annual Meeting & Exhibition will be held at the Tampa Convention Center located in downtown Tampa Bay.

Climate
The city's year-round semi-tropical climate is free from many of the extremes found elsewhere. Spring in the Tampa area is usually mild and dry, with highs in the 70s (around 25 C) and lows in the 50s (around 13 C).

Other attractions include The Florida Aquarium, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo, Busch Gardens, and the Museum of Science & Industry. Ybor City is a short trolley car ride from downtown and is host to bustling nightlife including casual eateries, pubs and music venues.

Tampa offers a variety of restaurants from casual to fine dining, and cuisines from American to Mediterranean, to Italian to sushi in the downtown area, Ybor City and some of the other noted neighborhoods. Two culinary landmarks include Bern’s Steakhouse and the Columbia Restaurant.
