Expand Your Network—Explore IADR/AADR’s Social Networking Platforms

The AADR Annual Meeting and IADR General Session provide myriad opportunities for you to network with IADR/AADR members, but if you’re looking for additional ways to interact with your colleagues and peers, explore IADR/AADR’s social networking platforms. You can visit us on Facebook, Flickr and LinkedIn. These outlets will allow you to communicate with other AADR National Student Research Group (NSRG) members via the convenience of your computer or mobile device.

Facebook
Millions of people use Facebook every day to keep up with their contacts, upload photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet. Please click here to visit the AADR NSRG Facebook group. Also, please visit the Facebook groups for both IADR and AADR.

Flickr
Flickr is an online photo management and sharing application. Browse through IADR’s Flickr site. While you do not need to sign in to view the photos, you will need to if you want to comment on photos.

LinkedIn
LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking site that allows you to strengthen and expand your existing network of professional contacts. Join the official AADR LinkedIn group and feel free to contribute to or start a discussion. IADR also has a LinkedIn group. Click here for more information.

Please note that while we have created these groups, we have no business relationship with Facebook or LinkedIn, nor can we control the information that is shared on those Web sites. Please read each Web site’s user agreement and privacy policy before joining.

If you have questions about any of these opportunities, please contact Ingrid Thomas, IADR/AADR marketing and communications manager.

AADR NSRG Online Forums
One of the benefits of being an IADR/AADR member is having the platform to network with other members who share in the vision to promote oral health. The Associations are making it easier for you to take advantage of this benefit, from the convenience of your computer!

To encourage networking and communication among our members, we have created some social networking technologies for you to utilize and enjoy. The NSRG Forums are currently under development and will be relaunched at a later date.

To access the forum for the first time, you will need your IADR login and password. If you do not have your login and password, please click here to obtain this information, or contact IADR by e-mail or phone at 1.703.548.0066.

After logging in and creating a unique forum username, you will be sent an e-mail with a temporary password and a direct login link. Please click “Register” to set up a user profile, change your password, and enter your contact information such as e-mail, school affiliation and your AOL IM name.

Once you log in, you will see the “General Discussion” link under the NSRG Forum. You can post questions or respond to other topics under this link.

If you have any questions or problems, please contact Marissa Naspinski by e-mail.
