IADR Unilever Hatton Divisional Award

Supported by Unilever Oral Care

This award is open to the Divisions and Sections of the IADR using a formula to determine the amount of competitors eligible for each. Each IADR Division and Section will be notified of the award each year and each will set up a Competition with appropriate standards to select competitors for this award. The successful candidate(s) must be in a position to attend the IADR General Session & Exhibition and compete in the IADR Unilever Hatton Competition and Awards. The criteria for entry to the IADR Unilever Hatton Competition and Awards will, therefore, apply to the Division/non-Divisional Section competition.

Objective:

The objective of the awards is to encourage outstanding young dental scientists to carry out research, attend the IADR General Session, and compete in the IADR Unilever Hatton Competition and Awards.

Method of Operation:

Any Divisions/Sections with questions may contact Sheri S. Herren, Strategic Programs Manager at [email protected].

The IADR Awards Review Committee will assess the standard of the eventual competitors and will report to the IADR Preformance Monitoring/Audit Committee (PMAC) to ensure that appropriate standards are being applied.

The Competition will take place and awards will be presented during the IADR General Session & Exhibition in Seoul, Republic of Korea, June 22-25, 2016. Each IADR Division and Section is invited and encouraged to send eligible candidates to participate in this event. Prospective candidates should contact their Division or Section presidents if they are interested in entering the competition since you must receive Divisional/Sectional approval to compete. Each Division/Section must hold its own onsite competition to select its candidate(s). The entries will be judged by the IADR Awards Review Committee during the Meeting.

Award Title:

The exact name of each Division/ Section award competition must be the “IADR Unilever Hatton Divisional Award.”

Funding:

Unilever is generously supporting each candidate’s airfare and hotel accommodations for four nights, and IADR meeting registration fees. Arrangements will be made through the IADR Global Headquarters. Candidates will receive detailed instructions after abstract notification.
